Artwork Guidelines

  • All artwork submitted on disk or via FTP should include a directory list of files, a hard copy layout, a complete set of written instructions, and your contact information.
  • All artwork submitted , requiring custom color matching, should include a hard copy of required colors for reference.
  • All artwork submitted that is not actual size should include the created scale and the finished scale required.
  • All artwork submitted should be provided in the native software format in which it was created. See the supported list of software below.
  • Please backup your files and do not submit the only copy of a file, accidents can happen.

Vector Artwork Setup
  • All artwork using fonts and logos should be created as a composite file in a vector-based program using the required images, graphics, and text.
  • All artwork that includes placed images must be accompanied by the required image files.
  • All fonts should be converted to outlines or the screen fonts and printer fonts must be included with your files.
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Adobe Illustrator EPS (.eps) files are preferred.

Bitmap Artwork Setup
  • All artwork submitted for rotary screen printing should be provided at a resolution of 254 dpi.
  • All artwork submitted with color separations should be provided as individual files.
  • All artwork using fonts and logos should be submitted as vector artwork and not as bitmap artwork.
  • High resolution files are required for large scale prints. The specific dpi varies depending on the output type and the finished size.
  • Tiff files are preferred.
